For the first time since leaving home, I made sugar cookies so the kids could decorate them. Ike loved putting "big sugar" on his cookies! This was tough for me because I HATE messes!!!! The kids had fun, though, and as you can see they loved eating them, too.

HA! You sound like me. I hate messes too. I just broke out the Play Doh the other day in desperation because it is too cold to go outside. I had to bite my tongue as there was colored dough EVERYWHERE except on the table AND it was mixed. I hate mixed Play Doh.
I bet your cookies were YUMMY though, and I bet the kids liked doing it with you. :)
