Close-up

Here is what she really looks like after getting cleaned up.

Welcome!

We greeted Noelle Grace face to face on March, 23 at 4:57 AM (Taiwan time). Mom and baby are doing very well. Here are the stats:
1. 7.22 lbs
2. 20 in
3. Cuter than a petunia in a pumpkin patch

After a Long Day's Work...

It's good to relax by reading a book that is upside down.

We can relate to Ike in that sometimes we try to read Chinese the same way.

Word of the Day: Latte

Language learning should be "hands on." Ike makes it that way in learning the word "latte," much to mommy's amusement.

This is Ike sporting this spring's runaway bestselling 2-tone, button-up. It is designed by Old Navy and available only at their finest tailors. His jeans are "Bob the Builder." Needless to say, this Bob has quite the build. These jeans protect this rugged young man no matter the elements. Ike's hair done only by Mom.

You may have seen Ike perform on the big screen as himself in the blockbuster, "The Boy who says 'Bye'" or in the B-rated movie "MORE!"

Wing Tip Fever

Kevin Garnet does not look this good in wing tips! Ike actually runs to put on these shoes. He wore them at his Aunt's wedding and we will probably have to bind his feet so he can continue to wear them.

Kickin' Kiwi

We are celebrating the last of our Kickin' Kiwi Kool-Aid. Andrew and his roommates bought a bunch in college and now Andrew's stash is gone. We are still mourning.

Here is a picture of our language helper with her two kids. Isaak appears to have a halo. We assure you that he does not. Her son comes every lesson and plays with Isaak.

We appreciate her patience as we are still butchering the language. She is very, very, very patient.
