A Receding Hair line??

From the back it looks like Joey has a nice receding hair line.

Take a closer look at a view of him from the front and you will see that he really isn't balding. Rather, his once dark blond hair is shedding and is being replaced by nearly white hair.

Today I heard what at first I thought was Joey crying. After further investigating, I discovered he was really just talking. Here's the video Andy shot of it.

He's rolling over!

Joey's been rolling over since he was a day shy of 3 months. We finally got video of it! His problem is the same as many other babies....he doesn't know how to roll back over again. He'll learn!

A future weight lifter??

Andy picked Joey up off the floor and up came his toy, too. I forget how strong of a grip babies have!

Baby!!???!!???

Nope, that's not a baby in Ike's tummy, it's a LOT of spaghetti! Ike love's his noodles!

Got latte??

Yep, that's latte froth, not plain milk. I know, she's too young to drink coffee, but I think that it runs in the genes. She is definitely a good Scandinavian!

Ike hopped on Elle's "bike" today and got pushed around by Elle. It just seems like he should be pushing her. She had a blast!

Joey

These pictures were taken right after he ate. I guess he was pretty tired because he usually plays after eating.

Joey had a Dr. appt a week ago....he is still a light-weight. He is only about 13lbs now (<25th percentile). I guess he still takes after his dad.

Ike and Elle love their Joey!

Joey is 3 months now, and Ike and Elle still love holding him.

Okay, Elle doesn't really hold him, it's more like she treats him like a doll.

Still Swimming

It's mid-September and the kids are still able to get in the pool (they apologize to all of you who are already experiencing cold weather for rubbing it in). Elle even enjoys it now that she has her very own swimming shoes. She didn't like it much before because the tiles that you see (our equivalent of grass) are really slippery when they are wet.

Family "fun"

Today we needed to take a "nice" family picture. What an adventure with three little kids! We found the key to getting it done was to set the timer on the camera...the kids loved watching Dad run to get in the picture on time! After we got the picture we wanted, we decided to be a little goofy, too. Here are some of the fun shots we got (okay, so we think that they are fun).

Joey's 3 months already!

It's hard to believe, but 3 months have passed since Joey was born. Where does the time go? He has gotten so big. We've tried to tell him to slow down, but he doesn't seem to care.

Isaak, can you read Chinese???

We bought a shelf to put some of Kris' projects in. Of course, all the directions were in Chinese. Luckily there were pictures with the directions. When Ike woke up from his nap he helped me finish putting it together.
